Born to Engineer, Built to Race
Centrale Nantes Formula Student is a student-led association at Centrale Nantes, one of France's top engineering schools.
Founded with the ambition to bring Centrale Nantes to the forefront of Formula Student competition, our team brings together 20 students from all engineering disciplines. United by a shared passion for motorsport and innovation, we design, manufacture, and test a competition race car from scratch every year.
Our mission goes beyond building a fast car. We develop the next generation of engineers through hands-on experience with real-world challenges in design, manufacturing, project management, and business development.

4 Specialized Departments
Each department plays a critical role in turning our design into a competitive race car.
Conception
Chassis design, suspension geometry, powertrain integration, and all mechanical systems. From CAD to manufacturing — every physical component of the car.
Electronics
High-voltage battery management, motor controllers, sensor integration, data acquisition, and cockpit instrumentation for our electric powertrain.
Programmation
Vehicle control software, telemetry systems, ECU programming, and simulation tools. The code that makes Falcon drive.
Enterprise
Sponsorship acquisition, brand management, business presentations, event planning, and partnership relations. The commercial engine of CNFS.
Our University
Centrale Nantes is one of France's leading engineering schools (Grande Ecole), renowned for excellence in mechanical engineering, energy, and naval engineering. Located in Nantes, a vibrant city in western France, our university provides the facilities, expertise, and support that makes CNFS possible.
